On this Mothers' Day, I celebrate my mom, my aunts, my grandmothers, and all the mothers before them... I celebrate my mother friends.
And I celebrate myself!

Because motherhood is the hardest job in the world. Because I know how easy it is to forget about ourselves while caring for our littles, families and the world.
And because we need to always remember to mother and nurture ourselves, too. So that we can be the best we can be. Every day.

I just made a pledge to myself to make time and seek the things that bring me true joy and feed my soul. I thought maybe some of you could use a gentle reminder, too :)

Happy Mothers' Day, sisters! I hope you have a truly magnificent weekend, resting, celebrating, and receiving the love and care you deserve... But once the weekend is over, please remember to use some of that amazing motherhood unicorn magic inside of you to care for you...
